How to Thaw
Remove the lobster tail from its original packaging.
Place it in a sealed plastic bag.
Thaw in the refrigerator for 6 to 8 hours.
If you need to speed things up, keep the lobster sealed in the plastic bag and run it under cool water. Never use hot water, as it can damage the texture and begin cooking the meat unevenly.
How to Prepare
Once thawed:
Use kitchen shears to cut along the top of the shell, stopping at the base of the tail.
Gently lift the meat above the shell while keeping it attached at the end.
Season as desired and cook using your preferred method such as broiling, grilling, baking, or pan-searing.
