Our Oishii natural shrimp are carefully farmed in small batches in Thailand at a modern processing facility that focuses on quality from start to finish. Although they’re farm-raised, they’re completely natural and 100% chemical-free.
As soon as they’re harvested, the shrimp arrive live and are processed by hand right away. That attention to detail helps preserve their natural sweetness, firm texture, and rich, meaty bite. The result is shrimp that taste noticeably better than the average variety.
Each order is packed with dry ice to ensure it stays fully frozen during transit and arrives in excellent condition.
How to Thaw
For best results, remove the shrimp from the original packaging, place them in a sealed plastic bag, and thaw in the refrigerator for 6–8 hours.
If you’re short on time, keep the shrimp in a sealed plastic bag and run it under cool water. Avoid using hot water, as it can affect the texture and quality.
How to Cook
Oishii Shrimp are versatile and cook beautifully whether you bake, grill, boil, fry, or steam them. Cook to an internal temperature of 120°F for the best texture. They’re especially well-suited for seafood boils, where their natural sweetness really stands out.
